This is honestly one of my favorite stories to tell people because it describes our relationship so well. We met in a small country bar back in the summer of 2022. Ironically Jules was on a date with another guy and Jer was working at the bar taking marketing photos for the bar. Jer came over to Jules and her date and asked if they would like a picture together, Jer knew the guy Jules was with from college, and as the guys chatted for a minute Jules took a good look at the camera Jer had. "Ewww..." she announced out loud, you shoot with a Sony, I can't believe I let you take my picture with that." Jer looks at Jules taken aback by her comment and replies, "What and you shoot with a Canon?" (taking a wild guess at what camera she used). Jules replied, "Yeah so you heard of one." The conversation died down and the two went their separate ways. Jules finished her night with her date and Jer continued working taking pictures as he always did. A little less than three weeks later Jules found herself planning a rafting trip with a group of swing dancers she had met over the summer. It was an open invention to anyone, to bring anyone. There were a couple of rafts and a few paddleboards. As the group set out on the river Jules noticed a somewhat familiar face, it was "Sony Boy", the guy she had given such a hard time about using a Sony camera that one night in the bar. Around the same time, Jer noticed a familiar face of "Canon Girl", the girl from the bar who had made fun of his camera. As the group of friends floated down the Boise River Jer and Jules started talking, sparks were flying, and the sun was falling down into the evening. After the river, the group all went to Payette Brewing for dinner and socializing. Jer and Jules chatted the evening away. It took a few more months for Jules to finally be won over by Jer's charm but through patience and determination, Jer got his girl. The two wanted to join their skills together and decided in 2023 to start booking weddings. In their first year of 2023, they had 12 different wedding clients. Working together and doing what they were passionate about was a literal dream, and was only made possible by you! This next year, 2024 they want to travel more, meet more people, and hear their stories;  all while getting to capture important moments in their lives.
